Privacy Policy
BibleVerseGen is designed to work without an account and with as little data collection as possible.

Information you provide
BibleVerseGen does not create user accounts, accept profile information, or ask you to submit personal information to generate a passage. The Copy and Share actions use capabilities on your device; BibleVerseGen does not receive the destination or message you choose.
Hosting and technical information
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like other web hosts, Vercel may process standard connection and diagnostic information—such as an IP address, request details, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, and error or security logs—to deliver and protect the service.
Vercel describes its practices in its Privacy Notice. BibleVerseGen does not maintain a separate user database in V1.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
BibleVerseGen sets no application cookies, uses no advertising, and does not create a persistent visitor profile. Analytics and monitoring are off unless their separate environment switches are enabled.
When enabled, Vercel Web Analytics records anonymous, aggregated page-view and referral information without third-party cookies. BibleVerseGen removes URL query strings and fragments before those page-view records are sent. It does not use Vercel custom events.
When enabled, the site sends only five product-action names to PostHog: passage generation, copy, share, context reading, and chapter reading. Each browser tab uses a temporary random identifier held only in memory. The action records do not include passage text or references, URL parameters, email addresses, IP addresses, or user-profile properties.
When enabled, Sentry receives error reports to help diagnose failures. BibleVerseGen disables default PII, performance tracing, and session replay, and removes user data, breadcrumbs, request headers, cookies, request bodies, URL query strings, and fragments before reporting. A random request ID may be included only to connect an error with the site's safe server logs.
Retention and your choices
Because the site has no accounts or user-content database, BibleVerseGen has no stored profile or passage history to delete. Infrastructure logs, when generated, are retained according to the hosting service settings and operational requirements.
